How It Started
In 2021, a friend asked for a sign for her café. Not a printed banner, not a vinyl decal — something that would glow through the window on a winter evening and make people want to come inside.
We looked into it. Traditional glass neon was beautiful and wildly impractical: expensive, fragile, weeks of lead time, and a quote that came back higher than her monthly rent. The cheap LED alternatives online looked exactly like what they were — mass-produced, flat, thin plastic that arrived bent in the box.
There was nothing in between. Nothing that felt handmade but didn't cost a fortune.
So we bought a length of LED neon flex, a sheet of acrylic, and spent most of a weekend getting it wrong. The first attempt was crooked. The second one shorted out. The fourth one hung in her café window for the next three years.
Within a few months we had outgrown the garage. Orders came from people who wanted the same thing she did: something that felt personal, arrived intact, and didn't cost more than the furniture around it.
What we learned early
The first thing we got right was the proof. Early on, a customer approved an order over the phone and we built exactly what we heard — which was not exactly what she meant. That sign cost us money and cost her a fortnight.
Since then, nothing gets cut until you have seen it and said yes. Every order gets a visual mockup within 24 hours, and revisions are free and unlimited until it's right. It slows us down slightly. It has saved hundreds of orders from going wrong.
The second thing was packaging. LED neon is genuinely durable; acrylic is genuinely not. We went through four packaging designs before we found one that survived being thrown across a depot — and we know it survives, because we tested it that way.
Where we are now
We are still small enough that the person who answers your email is the person who will see your sign being built. Signs go out to homes, cafés, gyms, salons, offices and wedding venues across all fifty states.
The tools have improved. The workshop is bigger. But every sign is still bent, mounted, wired and tested by hand — because after four years we still haven't found a machine that does it as well as a person who cares whether it comes out right.

We introduced free digital mockups before production on every order. Errors dropped to almost nothing, and it has been non-negotiable ever since.
Four packaging redesigns later, we landed on double-walled cartons with custom-cut foam. Transit damage became a rarity rather than a risk.
We added IP67 weatherproof builds for storefronts and remote-controlled RGB for game rooms and event spaces.
Our online builder launched, letting customers see their text, font, colour and size before ordering — with a real proof still following within 24 hours.
